Sovillio is a small team in London, Bristol, and Istanbul, building a quieter way to run a UK accounting practice. We're independent, profitable from day one, and have no intention of selling out to a roll-up.
In 2024, Mustafa was running a small accountancy practice in north London and Jane was leading engineering at a UK fintech. They'd known each other since university; they'd been complaining about practice management software for almost as long.
Every Friday, Mustafa would describe a workflow problem. Every Saturday, Jane would say "that's a 200-line script". After about six months of this, they decided it was a product, not a script.
Sovillio's first 12 customers were practices Mustafa knew personally. Two years later, it's 220 firms — still small enough that every customer gets a real reply, still independent, still quiet.
